As part of a marketing project I have recently been working on a flyer to be given to customers who order from APC Pure.
I decided that the flyer should feature two different attention grabbing options for the viewer to choose. One being a discount code and the other being focused on social media. I focused with red and black as this is the company’s colour scheme. I didn’t want to make the leaflet appear to crowded however I did want to include the most important information including: website, discount code and social media. This lead to the simplistic design and colour, also adding a QR code to make this more technology friendly and modern.
Below shows the front and back of the flyer. *The discount code has been blurred out purposely*

Letterhead Design – Nubuild Services Ltd
by Amy | Mar 18, 2017 | Graphic Design
Recently been working on Branding for a new business Nubuild Services Ltd.
The client’s brief was to create a Logo that connotes the idea of the products such as: Canopies, Garages, Garden Offices and Carports.
The concept was to build a brand from the word Nubuild that will become recognisable over time. Along with custom font design I also created an Icon in a bright striking colour thats visually effective.
My Objective was to create a shape that was identifiable for the product that the company sells. And since the business markets garden structures, I produced a shape that instantly portrayed the company’s product line.
Simple, Bold and Iconic.
Below shows my first stages of concepts to the Final Logo & Branding.

Nubuild – Final Logo on Business Card
by Amy | Mar 8, 2017 | Graphic Design
Excited to say I have recently just created a Logo and Branding for a new Youtuber JOEYSEVEN7 who is a part of an already existing Youtube Channel SuperSeven.
Joe wanted to focus on the colour scheme Black and Red and wanted something vibrant that would stand out.
I started off with giving the client something really slick and more lay back however he wanted something more eye popping and bold, at this point I choose to design something the complete opposite and something that would appeal to other Youtubers and was more different than the normal.
The concepts I have designed have ranged from different compositions some simpler than others and I choose to brand with using a similar idea, I have played around with fire effects and crackles however found Light Trails was more effective.
The Logo uses Simplicity in terms of 3 letter initials and the Youtube name underneath, the colour red I have used I felt represented the client as It represents power and success.
For the branding, I wanted to make this stand out more and this Is where I used trial and error with different effects which Light Trails worked best, I choose to have them changed to the colour red to blend in with the original colour scheme.
Overall, I am very happy with the Logo and Branding as Its very eye catching and is very vibrant in terms of colours and bold letters.

JOEYSEVEN7 Logo & Branding – Presentation Board Final
by Amy | Feb 8, 2017 | Graphic Design
For my Final Piece in Graphics in my A2 Course module, I decided to design a logo for Adidas Kids due to I felt it wasnt promoted enough.
The research I carried out before this meant I looked into already made logo’s and colour schemes.
I decided to create my own font which was both the “adidas” and the ‘kids”, The typography allowed me to have fun and I made the “kids” seem like kids building blocks falling over.
For this design I worked with paint as my mixed media where my nephews handprinted their hands in order to get something that was more free and controlled, however overall I felt I had more control over the child icon I completed in Illustrator.
After time of trial and error and thinking I had come to a final piece I found primary colours made the brand look cheap and choose to focus in the direction of more subtle soft colours which got me to a final piece.
Overall I am very happy with the outcome, I feel this is better than I expected and I love how the branding of this means no matter what colours or textures used this still looks like the Adidas Logo.
Below shows my steps to the final piece.
